Tunnel Springs Styled Elopement - Andrea & Carson

Updated: Nov 17, 2021

Ready for some incredible inspiration? I really love an adventurous elopement, waking up early to hike for sunrise, sipping coffee and watching the mountains begin to light up, you know the drill. This ain't that. Here's the thing - elopements can also be minimalist, close to home, and exactly what you want from them. If you're not a huge hiker, it's easy to be a little intimidated by the elopement scene, and I totally understand that. But guess what? You don't need to go anywhere remote for incredible views! It's totally possible to have an intimate and meaningful elopement without breaking a sweat, if you're just not into that.

Here's what elopements are really about:

☽ An experience that's just the two of you (and maybe your closest of friends & family), where you have plenty of time together on what should be one of the best days of your life ☽ Authenticity - saying "no" to the big ol' wedding industry and all the drama and rules that come with it ☽ Valuing experiences over stuff - and that experience can be as simple as taking time together to reflect on your relationship, reading your vows somewhere intimate and quiet, and thinking about where you both want to be in 40, 50, maybe even 60 years time from now

Here's a little about the couple: Andrea is from Peru, and even though he's from Utah, Carson has spent time in the city where Andrea grew up! They didn't meet in Peru though - they ended up with some mutual friends who introduced the two. It didn't take them long to become totally smitten with each other, and I don't think I've ever seen someone look at their partner in quite the same way as Carson looked at Andrea. They're just totally in love, and so goofy together, so we made sure to capture that mood in their images. While these two were models for me, they're getting married in Moab, Utah, in just a few days time, and I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. Ready to dive in?
