If I've ever felt busy, it's not quite "drive from Colorado to Moab on Friday night, camp in your car, wake up early to climb Fisher Towers, romp around for an entire photography session, and drive back to Colorado for a Nathaniel Rateliff concert that same night" levels of busy. That's just what Jake & Julia did, and I'm seriously so lucky they were in Moab at the same time I was.
A lot of photographers are rightfully afraid of shooting at times other than sunrise or sunset, where you get that gorgeous, creamy golden light. I was a little bit nervous shooting closer to noon, but honestly, I love a good challenge, and I'm in love with all kinds of light. I grew up in Wisconsin where the ground and the sky stay the same shade of gray for around 5 months of the year, so I'm down to soak in every bit of sun I can, and give you beautiful images all the same!
