Where to even begin with this beautiful vow renewal? Clay & Maggie decided to travel to Utah for their five year anniversary, and I'm sure if you've been, you can definitely remember that feeling of absolute awe over seeing Zion National Park for the first time. Being wedding photographers themselves (based out of Kansas City), they knew they wanted to capture their love in a unique, true-to-them way. That's where I came in — and we planned something super special. We decided to wake up early in the morning to be at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park before the sun was even truly rising. With no one else in the park, we entered while it was still dark, and started meandering to the dunes with sleepy eyes, and a whole lot of excitement. We all started waking up and exploring, eventually settling on a perfect, minimalist spot where they could read their vows to each other. The love these two have for each other is so unpretentious & heartfelt, and I'm always blown away that I get to document these sacred moments. After reading their vows, I had Clay & Maggie take time to walk all the way to the tippy top of the dunes, truly alone, and take some moments to really let it all sink in.
